The Action Queue explained

In this article: One screen listing everything expired or expiring soon, grouped by contractor and ordered by urgency.

One screen listing everything expired or expiring soon, grouped by contractor and ordered so the worst is at the top. If you only open one screen a week, open this one.

The Action Queue grouped by contractor, showing expired and expiring-soon items

How it's ordered

Contractors with expired items first, then those with the soonest deadlines. It's already a to-do list in priority order — start at the top and work down rather than looking for a place to begin.

The two groups

  • Expired — already lapsed. These are the ones making contractors Non-Compliant, and the ones to look at before anyone else goes to site.
  • Expiring soon — still valid, deadline approaching. Chase these and they never reach the group above.

An expiring-soon item doesn't change anyone's status. The contractor stays Compliant right up to the day it lapses — which is precisely why this screen exists separately from the badge.

Working from it

Click any contractor to open their record and send a request. Most sessions here are ten minutes of sending renewal requests, and most of those get answered without you touching it again.

Tip

This is the same list the weekly summary email is built from — one rule, in one place, so the screen and the email can't disagree with each other.

Across several clients

If you're an agency managing a portfolio, the equivalent across every client is Agency Exceptions — the same rule, rolled up, worst client first.
