Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan never requires a credit card. If you want to try Starter or Pro, you get 30 days free — still no credit card required at sign-up. We ask for payment information only when your trial ends and you decide to continue.
What happens when I hit the 25-contractor limit on the Free plan?
Your existing subs stay tracked and your data stays intact — nothing gets deleted. You just won't be able to add contractor number 26 until you upgrade to Starter. If you're close to the limit, you'll see a warning in your dashboard before you hit it. Upgrading takes about 30 seconds.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees, no phone call required to cancel. You can cancel from your account settings in under a minute. You keep access until the end of the billing period you already paid for, then your account drops back to Free — your data stays, you just lose the paid features.
Is my data secure and where is it stored?
Your data is stored on servers in the United States and never sold or shared with third parties. Documents you upload — COIs, W-9s, license copies — are stored encrypted. We use industry-standard TLS encryption in transit. If you cancel, you can export your data before you leave.
Does my price go up as I add more contractors?
No. Starter is $39/mo whether you have 26 subs or 260. Pro is $79/mo whether you have 2 users or 20. There are no per-contractor fees, no seat surcharges, and no usage-based billing surprises at the end of the month. The price you see is the price you pay.
What if I need more than Pro?
Pro covers the vast majority of GC operations.
