Export a compliance report

In this article: Produce a PDF or Excel report for an owner, an auditor, or your own records.

Applies to Pro plan

Two formats, and they're for different readers. PDF is what you send someone; Excel is what you work with.

FormatGood for
PDFOwners, lenders, auditors, insurers. Formatted, dated, sendable as-is.
ExcelYour own analysis. Sort it, filter it, paste it into a board pack.

Where the buttons are

  • ContractorsExcel and PDF at the top right export your roster with current status.
  • Compliance Summary — exports the organization-wide picture.
  • A project — exports just that job's contractors and their status for it. This is usually the one an owner is actually asking for.

Which one to send

When someone asks "are your subs covered on our job?", send the project PDF, not the organization one. The project report answers their question and doesn't hand them a list of every contractor you work with elsewhere.

Tip

Run the export the day you're asked, not from a copy you saved last month. These reports carry the date they were generated, and that's the first thing an auditor looks at.

Agency branding

If you're an agency on a plan that includes report branding, exports carry your mark, colours and logo rather than ours. Nothing to switch on per report — it applies once configured. See Brand the console and your reports.

Note

Exports need a Pro plan. If the buttons aren't there, that's why — see what each plan includes.
